Release Date: 2015-05-20

Traverse City, MI - May 20, 2015 - - With the all new Great Lakes

Equestrian Festival now just a month away, entries are lining up, additional new sponsors are coming on board and a variety of first-class vendors from across the country are planning their trip to the beautiful area of Traverse City, Michigan.

The festival will be held at Flintfields Horse Park, located at 6535 Bates Road in Williamsburg, Michigan. The show grounds are located just 10 miles east from the beautiful resort town of Traverse City. The new series of shows are scheduled to run four weeks: July 1-5, July 8-12, July 15-19 and July 22-26, 2015.

Sporthorse Saddlery is Michigan's largest exclusively English discipline tack store, located in New Hudson, Michigan. They provide the Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Three Day Eventing communities with exceptional, personalized service and great quality merchandise at competitive prices. The brick and mortar store is 4,400 sq feet and the business also has two 40' mobiles that travel to shows.

"Sporthorse Saddlery has been a part of the Traverse City horse shows as a sponsor and vendor for many years, and have enjoyed the high quality, fun shows at Flintfields. We're pleased that Stadium Jumping, Inc will continue to offer a "big" show environment in northern Michigan, and we're happy to continue our sponsor and vendor role in GLEF's inaugural year. We're looking forward to many more great July's in Traverse City!" said Nancy Bredeson, the owner of Sporthorse Saddlery.

"Stadium Jumping extends a welcome to Sporthorse Saddlery. We are excited that they have signed on for another year in Traverse City. They are a wonderful store, with quality products and top notch service," said Michael Morrissey, President of Stadium Jumping, Inc. "We are glad they are with us for the new Great Lakes Equestrian Festival."

"We have worked very hard to create an environment where people will not only want to shop, but also visit and socialize. We love to personally connect with our customers and know them, as well as their horses and kids, dogs, husbands," laughed Bredeson. "Usually when someone walks into the store or the mobile they are immediately greeted by a happy face and wagging tail of one of our store dogs."

Sporthorse Saddlery carries all of the top brands you would expect, along with some high quality mid-priced lines. Everyone on their team rides themselves, in at least one of the disciplines they support, and can provide personal recommendations based on their own experiences with products. Their number one priority is that the customer walks out of our store with products that truly meet their needs, look fantastic and most importantly fit correctly.

The festival is set on 88 beautiful acres and showcases five world-class competition rings in addition to spacious schooling rings. The property features don't stop there, as the park offers convenient on-site campgrounds, making for a truly unique attendee experience.

Given its gorgeous summer setting and its wide range of classes, the 2015 Great Lakes Equestrian Festival is an event equestrians won't want to miss. Management suggests that those planning on attending this year's shows to get their entries in to Stadium Jumping as soon as possible.

The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival lifts off on July 1 and continues through the month. We hope to see you in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan this summer.
