Written by: Ilana Cramer and Mary Adelaide Brakenridge
Client: Challenge of the Americas
Release Date: 2016-01-24

Wellington, FL – January 24, 2016 – Make your plans now to spend the evening of Friday, March 11, at the International Polo Club (IPC) Palm Beach for the 2016 Challenge of the Americas! Grand Prix dressage quadrille teams will perform intricately choreographed routines and show jumping competitors will test their skills, putting on a spectacular show while raising money for lifesaving breast cancer research.

All ages are invited to join in the fun and watch elite international equestrians under the lights at the beautiful venue, complete with new upgraded seating for spectators. Not only do event goers get a chance to enjoy an evening with top riders and horses from around the world, but they can also know they are contributing to an important cause.

Proceeds support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) through their partner Play for P.I.N.K. Since its inception in 2002, the Challenge has raised over $3 million for this cause. BCRF remains one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofits and is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the U.S. BCRF has a rating of "A+" from CharityWatch and has been awarded Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars 12 times since 2002.

General admission seating, available at the door, is $20 per person, and children 12 and under are admitted free. VIP tickets, available for purchase online via the Challenge of the Americas website, include dinner and dancing at the Challenge Gala. VIP seating is limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets early.

With an exciting lineup of top dressage riders and horses preparing some of the most advanced quadrilles to date, as well as a talented group of show jumping athletes, the 2016 Challenge is not to be missed! The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails for VIP guests, followed by the competition at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and dancing at the VIP Challenge Gala complete a memorable evening.
