Media Alert: India Night Returns to International Polo Club Tuesday March 1!

Written by: Emily Riden
Client: Salvation Tree
Release Date: 2016-02-27

Wellington, Fla. - Feb. 27, 2016 - Halfway around the world in India is a land of unbelievable opulence, but also one of extreme destitution. In just three days at the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC), attendees at the third annual India Night will experience the magical sights and sounds of the opulent side of India, while also giving back and aiding those at the other end of the spectrum through the Salvation Tree Foundation.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in IPC's Grand Pavilion, India Night will welcome guests into a vibrant, Indian atmosphere featuring delicious, gourmet Indian cuisine, live music, Bollywood dancers, an impressive silent auction item, the opportunity to travel to India and much, much more!
India Night is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Salvation Tree School. The school provides free education, uniforms, transportation and mid-day meals for the impoverished children of New Delhi, India.

"A lot of the kids there don't go to school at all. Many of them are the ones that are there to take care of their young siblings while their parents work. The education is just denied to them completely," said Timmy Sharma, co-founder of the Salvation Tree School alongside his wife Laurie. "So what we started out to do was provide them with a world class education."

Today the school serves more than 300 children, and ground has just been broken on a new, expansive school building, so the need for support is now greater than ever.

Individuals interested in attending the event and supporting the Salvation Tree School can still purchase tickets online here or by visiting

Media interested in covering the event or in exclusive interview opportunities, please contact Emily at or by phone at 717-368-8102.
