Anne's Night Comes to Wellington Tomorrow! Countdown to be part of this Fabulous Event!!

Written by: Emily Riden
Client: Anne's Night
Release Date: 2016-03-05

Wellington, Fl. – March 5, 2016 – Sunday evening, Anne’s Night is coming to Wellington, Florida and bringing with it an incredible line-up of entertainment, exciting auction items and the sights, sounds and flavors of Africa.

The event, benefitting Uryadi’s Village and the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village and honoring the legacy of Anne Heyman, begins at 6:30 p.m. at Double H Farm. Limited, last-minute tickets and tables are available by calling Denise at 516-429-6318.

Unlike many of the social events of the winter season where cocktail attire is required, dress for Anne’s Night is safari-style, and that theme will be prevalent throughout all aspects of this unique evening.

“We have the opportunity, being ‘the new kid on the block’ as far as events during the Wellington equestrian season, to do something entirely different and fun,” said Sheila Motley, the event designer and manager for the evening. “The property at the Harrison’s is so beautiful; we’re blessed to be producing an amazing event on the gorgeous fields of Double H Farm. This is going to be something stylistically that is different in many ways.”

Entertainment for the evening will include music by African band Positively Africa and The Voice contestant and accomplished singer, guitarist and pianist Blessing Offor. As Anne’s Night unfolds, the evening entertainment will segue into a nightclub lounge atmosphere, as DJ Brendan Fallis takes over, allowing guests to dance into the night.

Other highlights of the event line-up include one-of-a-kind auction items, made possible by generous supporters of Anne’s Night. Among the featured auction items are:

  • Eight skybox tickets to see Adele's sold-out concert tour at the United Center in Chicago on July 11
  • Bruce Springsteen package including an autographed "Ties that Bind" box set and four tickets to any upcoming Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band shows (winner's preference)
  • Royal Canadian Pacific luxury train excursion
  • 4 nights, 5 days at the Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla
  • Sports package including four glass seats and a Zamboni ride at any 2016-2017 Boston Bruins game, two New York Knicks court side seats and four New York Yankees seats behind home plate
  • VIP table for eight at the Global Champions Showjumping event in Miami including dinner for two with complimentary wine pairing at the new Asian restaurant Jaya and two nights at South Beach hotel.
  • Paid, month-long internship at Screen Gem Studios, a major TV and film studio
  • Lessons and course walks with:

    • Rodrigo Pessoa and Nelson Pessoa
    • McLain Ward and Beezie Madden
    • Internship at Sam Edelman Shoes

All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the 2016 Anne’s Night featured charities, Uryadi’s Village and the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village.
