Lexington, Ky. – April 18, 2016 – Five days of championship competition at the 2016 Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) National Finals get underway at the Kentucky Horse Park on Wednesday, and now, those unable to be in Lexington, Kentucky April 20-24 don’t have to miss a minute of the action.

Complete live streaming of the 2016 IEA National Finals will be available online at www.EqSports.Net

“Because only 750 of the IEA’s 12,500 riders qualify for the National Finals, it is important to provide real-time and archive viewing to the other riders, families, friends and supporters,” said Myron Leff, IEA co-founder and chief operating officer. “We are pleased that EQSportsNet will provide the technical capabilities so our diverse audience can enjoy the Finals competition.”

The live stream is available simply by visiting EqSports.Net and following the free login using an email, Facebook or Google+ account.

Founded in 2002, the IEA has more than 12,500 middle and high school student-riders across the United States.  The IEA was organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students and is open to public and private schools and barn teams. There is no need for a rider to own a horse because the IEA supplies a mount and tack to each equestrian for competitions.  Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs, to generally promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition and education on matters related to equestrian competition at the middle and secondary school levels. For more information, please view the IEA website at:
