International Bromont: New Improvements for Riders

Written by: Rebecca Walton
Client: Bromont
Release Date: 2016-06-11

Bromont, Canada - June 11, 2016 – International Bromont is proud to announce several initiatives done for the riders during the 41st edition from July 20-31, 2016.

Better Footing
The International Ring has brand new footing. The OTTO Sport perforated mats have been cleaned and topped off with new footing; a mixture of sand and polystyrene under the supervision of footing specialist, Oliver Hoberg.

The hunter rings will remain at the same location as the 2015 edition, however the 2016 footing consists of a sand and fiber mixture. Both jumper warm-up rings and the National ring will be treated to a new footing. As of July 1, every ring at the Bromont Equestrian Park will benefit from better footing.

For the Junior-Amateur
For the second year, junior-amateur 0.90m, 1.0m and 1.10m jumper classes will have no nomination fee.

International Bromont would also like to announce the return of Bruno Delgrange prizes, this year rewarding 1.10m and 1.20m junior and amateur riders.  The junior or amateur rider who has accumulated the most points over the two weeks will receive a Bruno Delgrange bridle in the 1.10m division and in the 1.20m division, the rider with the most points will earn a Bruno Delgrange saddle.

Wider Aisles
The stall arrangements will also be reviewed to enlarge the aisles in the temporary stables.

New Catering
For the first time in 2016, International Bromont is pleased to welcome different food trucks to provide catering services, specialties ranging from Italian to smoked meat, seafood to the traditional hot dog and hamburger.
