Great Lakes Equestrian Festival Welcomes Back Craig Rosenberg and Peninsula Capital Management as VIP Tent Sponsor

Written by: Allyson Lagiovane
Client: Morrissey Management Group (MMG) http://www.stadiumjumping.com/sj/index.cfm
Release Date: 2016-06-22

Traverse City, MI – June 22, 2016 –The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival is excited to welcome back Craig Rosenberg, owner of Peninsula Capital Management and Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, as the presenting sponsor of this year’s VIP tent. Peninsula Capital Management is located in the heart of Traverse City. This will be their sixth year of involvement with equestrian festivals in Northern Michigan.

Craig Rosenberg, Branch Manager and Financial advisor for Peninsula Capital Management, has been involved with the equestrian industry in the Traverse City area for a number of years, and has played a huge role in the growing success of the show.

“From what I’ve heard, talking with various participants, they really liked the improvements and what they’re seeing with the new company,” Rosenberg said of Morrissey Management’s role at last year’s Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. “I think one large part was just the improvements made by Matt (Morrissey) and his staff and their commitment to the show, both last year and their commitment to the shows for the years coming forward. “

Peninsula Capital Management is a highly successful investment management firm in the area. Rosenberg explains, “Our focus is to provide customized solutions to complex problems. Our clients include business owners, retirees, corporate executives and medical professional among others, and we focus on developing comprehensive asset management strategies, risk management, retirement and legacy planning, lending alternatives and tax reduction strategies to meet their various needs and goals."

Rosenberg and his wife Mary have been involved with horses for over 30 years, and in 2013 they owned a jumper that competed at this event. “We’ve always appreciated the skill, the expertise, and the competition you see at equestrian events,” Rosenberg said. “Between that and the fact that I see the festival as a huge benefit to the local community from an economic and an event point of view. I looked at this years ago and I felt that it would continue to grow over the years and I wanted to be a part of it.”

“I’m looking forward to the continued involvement of Morrissey Management, and to the new shows that they have added in August,” he continued. “I am looking forward to the fact that, with the management team involved, we’re going to see more visibility and awareness in the local community of the shows, which will be a win-win for everybody involved.”

Rosenberg added, “I will be hosting the luncheons at the Peninsula Capital Management VIP tent this summer and I am looking forward to the event again this year!”

The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival is set on 88 beautiful acres and showcases five world-class competition rings in addition to spacious schooling rings. The property features don't stop there as the park offers convenient on-site campgrounds, making for a truly unique attendee experience.
