Precise Buildings Joins with Monmouth at the Team to Benefit the United States Equestrian Team Foundation

Written by: Rebecca Walton
Client: Monmouth at the Team
Release Date: 2016-06-21

Gladstone, N.J. – June 21, 2016 – The all-new Monmouth at the Team Horse Show, formerly the Monmouth County Horse Show, continues to attract significant interest from equestrians across the country. The six-day event, to be held in historic Hamilton Farm’s Main Arena is scheduled for August 15-21, 2016. Hamilton Farm in Gladstone, New Jersey is the headquarters of the United States Equestrian Team Foundation and site of the Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Finals East, providing an attractive backdrop for an event such as this. The show will offer a full array of hunter, jumper and equitation classes, plus featured hunter derbies at multiple fence heights, a Mini Prix and more.

“I think people are excited for a number of reasons,” said Tucker Ericson, co-owner of Monmouth at the Team. “Anytime you get a chance to come to Gladstone is exciting and an opportunity to compete there is a really special treat for any competitor. So many people over the years have attended the Monmouth show, and I think horse people are thrilled that a new and dedicated group has taken the reins of the historic event to make sure its legacy stays alive.”

The Monmouth County Horse Show is one of America’s longest continuously run shows.

It is a team effort to put this year’s event together and a key member of that team is Precise Buildings LLC of Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. Precise Buildings, owned by John Fisher, combines the best of his Amish craftsmanship and modern barn design, while truly understanding the function, safety, and ventilation needs of their clients. The team at Precise Buildings works closely with professional equestrians to create facilities that are safe, functional, attractive, and long lasting. This knowledge transfers to all of the structures they build for anyone in the horse world.

Partnered with Precise, Monmouth at the Team’s goal over the next three years is to build two structures for the USET Foundation. The first project is a utility building for jump and equipment storage followed by a judges/announcers pavilion with heat, air conditioning and a state of the art sound system.

“We were approached by Tucker Ericson and Leslie Sullivan to sponsor the Gladstone Horse Show in 2013.  That show was a benefit show to raise money in order to build a new Judges' stand at the Sussex County Horse Show in honor of Edd Lookingbill,” explained John Rose, Director of Sales and Marketing. “At Precise, we believe in giving back to the horse community and love to have our work on display at horse events, so an in-kind sponsorship for the building was a natural fit.

“The event and the construction of the judges' stand were great successes, so when Leslie approached Precise on behalf of Monmouth at the Team, we readily agreed. Working to benefit USET helps us all,” he said. Rose continued, “Precise Buildings does a great deal of work for the professional riding community, working with riders and owners all the way up to the Olympic level.  We support the USET's endeavors and could not be happier to be involved with such a great cause.”

“Working at USET Foundation headquarters is very special to us,” Rose concluded. “Precise strives to be the best for all of our customers, large or small.  To work at such a historical and iconic facility is a treat for everyone in our organization.  It’s an important part of the history of USET and helping to preserve and improve the facility is an effort we’re proud to be a part of.”

Ericson pointed out that in addition to the generous contribution of Precise Buildings LLC, Monmouth at the Team plans to raise the balance of the needed funds through sponsorships, entries, and a Silent Auction. The Silent Auction will run throughout the show and conclude on August 21 at 4 p.m.
