Past ASPCA Maclay Champions Invited to Special Reunion and Celebration at CP National Horse Show

Lexington, KY - September 26, 2016 - The CP National Horse Show and President Mason Phelps, Jr. are pleased to announce a reunion and celebration of all past ASPCA Maclay winners during this year's event, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington on November 1 through the 6th, 2106.

Former Maclay Champions that are able to attend will receive complimentary tickets to the CP National Horse Show, tickets for the very special party at to be held at Gracie Street Garden on the evening of Friday November 4th, VIP tickets and seating in the Taylor Harris Club for the ASPCA Maclay Finals on Sunday, November 6th, and following the class, special seats will be reserved for you at the press conference honoring this year's champion.

If you would like to attend, we'd love to have you join us for this special event! Please RSVP to Ariel Weisman at or call 561-753-3389. We also ask for your help in making sure as many of our past champions as possible hear about the reunion. Please share this announcement with anyone you know who might not have heard about it.

Founded in New York in 1883, the CP National Horse Show is America's oldest indoor horse show and is firmly established as a major fixture on the national and international sports and social event calendars. Every year, it presents the ASPCA / NHSAA Maclay National Championship, showcasing the country's top juniors, many destined to represent the U.S. in international competition.

With over $800,000 in prize money offered, the 2016 edition of the CP National Horse Show has again been designated a CSI-W 4* show by the FEI. The International Open Jumpers will compete for almost half a million dollars in prize money, while the top rated hunter sections have a total purse of $195,000. Meanwhile, $135,000 in total is offered to the Amateur-Owner and U 25 Jumper sections.
