Lamplight Equestrian Center Recognizes Generous Sponsors of 2016 Chicago Festival of the Horse

Wayne, Ill. - Oct. 13, 2016 - Lamplight Equestrian Center had quite the summer season, and its success was due in large part to its kind and loyal sponsors. Spectators from near and far enjoyed top-notch competition over the course of three months for the Chicago Festival of the Horse, U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions, USEF Dressage Seat Medal Finals and  Markel/USEF Young & Developing Horse Championships. Lamplight Equestrian Center would like to give a big thanks to SmartPak, Nutrena, Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital, CWD, Finish Line, Kastel Denmark, Walsh Products, Riders Boutique, Saratoga Stalls, EQUO US, Barrington Saddlery, John Deere, Classic Equine and Devoucoux for their support.

SmartPak is an innovative company that was founded by riders and horse owners to assist riders and horse owners. Created in 1999 with the purpose to simplify the administration of nutritional supplements and medications to horses, SmartPak has a patented and proven supplement-feeding system that has been adopted widely across the country. Each SmartPak is custom-packed and sealed to protect the nutrients from oxygen and moisture. Delivery is every four weeks and can be sent directly to a home, office or barn.

Three riders had the privilege of earning Kastel Denmark's Style of Riding Award, which was honored a rider that exemplified American style of riding and overall sportsmanship in each grand prix class. Tracy Fenney was the first to win the award in the $50,000 grand prix during Equifest I. Liz Atkins earned it during Equifest II in the $75,000 grand prix and Dorothy Douglas was the final recipient, winning the award in the $50,000 grand prix during Equifest III.
One hundred halters were donated by Walsh Products for Champion prizes during Chicago Festival of the Horse. Since 1914, Walsh has continued its time honored tradition of exceptionally handcrafted equine products. For 100 years their products have been manufactured in the United States, and for the last 11 years in their 40,000 square foot Brookfield, WI location.
