Wellington, FL -April 15, 2009 - The North American Riders Group is pleased to offer the opportunity for added member participation within their organization through their interactive website: http://narg.org. The website includes many exciting new features such as horse show evaluations, discussion forums, news alerts and information about the group.

The NARG was founded to represent the viewpoints and interests of all riders, trainers and owners in equestrian sport in North America. The NARG focus is to encourage growth of equestrian sport by improving the quality of events and controlling costs. They intend to effect change through constructive criticism and positive influence on the governing bodies through committee activities.

NARG's easy to navigate website will be used to reach out to members and allow them to interact with one another and communicate with the board members. It features NARG's mission statement, the latest news involving NARG, and upcoming events. Members can also create profiles with photographs and career highlights.

Another exciting addition to the website is the forum which allows members to share their thoughts on different topics within the equestrian industry. The most recent topics include the United States Hunter Jumper Association Trainer Certification program and the various winter horse shows such as HITS Thermal and the Winter Equestrian Festival.

The most recent addition to the NARG website is the horse show evaluations, available under the events section when a member is logged on to the site. Here members have the opportunity to rate different aspects of a horse show after it's completion. Some aspects that can be evaluated include facilities, staff, prize money, organization, and fees, and the ratings range from not acceptable to excellent.

By participating in these evaluations it will allow board members to be better identify each horse show's strengths and weaknesses so that they can communicate this feedback with management to help create improvements at the horse shows. These short evaluations and the members' participation are critical in helping the NARG achieve its goal of improving the equestrian sport.

"The six board members have taken a lot of time out of our schedule to help make improvements for the entire horse community," explained NARG President Chris Kappler. "Our goal is to have well managed, quality competitions, with more prize money, better footing, and to see better competition throughout the United States at every level. If the six of us are willing to take the time then everybody else has to take a little time after every show to fill out show evaluations, communicate with each other, and help sign up new members. We need to have a wave across America so that everyone is working together to build a solid organization for the future."

The NARG is excited that their website will allow members to be more involved with their organization on a regular basis. Despite geographic location, members of the NARG can find out news and information about the organization or offer feedback about various topics at anytime. Through members time and commitment, the NARG website is an excellent tool that will help the organization reach it's goals and improve the equestrian sport.
