MEDIA ALERT– Press Credentials For 2010 Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament Featuring The 126th National Horse Show

Syracuse, NY - October 25, 2010 - Press credentials will be available to members of the media who will be reporting on the 2010 Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring The 127th National Horse Show. The show will be held November 2 -7 and welcomes top-ranked equestrians from across the U.S. and from around the world to compete in the War Memorial at the Oncenter Complex. Besides the highest level of competition, competitors and spectators alike will enjoy shopping, entertainment and dining and with the rich history and tradition of the National Horse Show.

Media interested in covering the Syracuse Invitational and the 127th National Horse Show can apply for accreditation by filling out the accreditation form which can also be found at this link: http://www.syracuseinvitational.com/Press/MediaAccreditationForm/tabid/1571/Default.aspx or by visiting the Syracuse Invitational Press page.

Your outlet is not limited to the number of credentials for writers, editors, or camera people, but we do request credentials be faxed in by November 1, 2010. Requests beyond that date will be issued credentials but those contacts may miss important information or advisories.

Highlights of the Tournament will include the NEW $50,000 Hunter Classic presented in honor of Charlie Weaver, the $100,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier of Syracuse, the $80,000 Sporthorse Cup, as seen on Animal Planet, the NEW Atlas Fence Local Competition Day, the National Horse Show ASPCA Maclay Championship and the $60,000 Spy Coast Farm High Junior/Amateur- Owner Jumper Championship.

Competition tickets are on sale for the Syracuse Invitational through the Oncenter Box Office (315-435-2121) and Ticketmaster. The Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization that benefits Cornell University Equine Hospital and Vera House.

The National Horse Show was founded in 1883 at the original Madison Square Garden, the National Horse Show is America's oldest indoor horse show and as a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization, provides financial aid to many worthwhile charities.
