2010 Sponsors Announced for Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring the 127th National Horse Show

Cazenovia, NY – October 29, 2010 - The Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring the 127th National Horse Show announces its 2010 sponsors. Held from November 2nd through November 7th, the Syracuse Invitational welcomes the National Horse Show to Syracuse along with top-ranked equestrians from across the U.S. and from around the world to compete in the War Memorial at the Oncenter Complex.

Many generous sponsors have signed up to support the classes at this year’s horse show in all of the hunter, equitation and jumper divisions. Highlights of the 2010 Invitational Tournament include the $100,000 Detwiler Fenton FEI World Cup Qualifier of Syracuse presented by G & C Farm, the $80,000 Sporthorse Cup presented by Copernicus Stables, the NEW Atlas Fence Local Competition Day, the National Horse Show ASPCA Maclay Championship, the $60,000 Spy Coast Farm High Junior/Amateur- Owner Jumper Championship and the NEW $50,000 Hunter Classic presented in honor of Charlie Weaver.

The Dutta Corporation and Up the Creek Farm will sponsor the $10,000 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper classes. The $10,000 Medium Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Grand Prix has been sponsored by Trade Winds Farm, and Burr Associates lent their generosity to the $1,000 Medium Jr/AO Time First Jump-Off.

The Syracuse Corporate Challenge includes sponsors LaBarge Companies, Steele Associates, Swift Glass, Oncenter Complex, CNY Fertility, and YNN. The $30,000 Gambler's Choice is presented by Double H Farm, and Saturday’s $30,000 1.45m International Time First Jump Off will be presented by Windsor Show Stables.

Hyaluronex sponsored the $5,000 1.40m International Speed Class. Several great supporters also put their names on the Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper classes including the $5,000 Fairfield Equine Associates and DermaSpaRx Low Jr/AO Jumper Grand Prix. The Clothes Horse sponsored the $1,000 Low Jr/AO Time First Jump-Off, and Equine Body Works sponsored the $500 Low Jr/AO Speed class.

Many more sponsors chose to support the hunter divisions throughout the week. Junior Hunter sponsors include Elm Rock LLC, Greentree South, Inc. and Suzanne Marquard. Amateur Owner Hunter divisions were sponsored in part by Virginia Fout, and Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Oare. Douglas Wheeler generously sponsored the Regular Working Hunter division. The 3’6” Open Jumper division is sponsored by Fair Haven Farm, the 3’ Equitation division is sponsored by CNY EQ, and Beacon Hill Horse Transportation sponsored the 3’ Hunter Classic. Gary and Donna Duffy of Little Brook Farm donated Championship and Reserve Championship trophies for each of the Hunter divisions.
