Aaron’s Catering of the Palm Beaches Expands to Grand New Facility at International Polo Club

Written by: Phelps Media Group, Inc.
Client: Aaron’s Catering of the Palm Beaches
Release Date: 2010-12-20

Wellington, Fl – December 20, 2010 – Aaron’s Catering of the Palm Beaches, the area’s fastest growing catering company is expanding once again, this time to the famed International Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. A brand new pavilion, with nearly 11,000 square feet of climate controlled comfort, located field-side at IPC, will house the new operation flying the new banner International Polo Club Catering. In addition to weddings, receptions, private parties and special events, the new facility will be open on Polo Sunday’s with a fabulous Champagne Brunch for the general public.

What has made Aaron’s Catering the choice of discerning party givers over the years, in addition to their world renowned cuisine, is their attention to detail in planning the complete event. “We all share a passion for the "art and science of celebration," stated Aaron Menitoff, President and CEO. “Our secret ingredient is our core staff. They have been with us since the beginning. From there, we have selectively added exceptional catering industry professionals to our team.”

“We’ve assembled the catering ‘A-team’, and it makes producing an event something very special,” agreed Chief Operating Officer Rita Menitoff. “We’re full service. Unlike most caterers, we own 10,000 sq ft of warehouse filled with fine china, glassware, linens, tables and seating, and theme décor. This enables us offer the design and creation of any ‘look and feel’ that a client is seeking. We can handle the entertainment, we can secure the location, we’ll take care of the parking, all of the details from top to bottom to make the event as hassle free as possible for our client,” she said.

The new venue at International Polo Club, and the new company, International Polo Club Catering, is part of the expansion of Aaron’s Catering, the area’s most trusted caterers.

“IPC & Aaron's Catering have worked closely together for over three years producing unforgettable events and record breaking Sunday Polo attendance. Our partnership seemed like the next logical step in growing two exceptional brands focused on growth, excellence and expanding the reach of both organizations,” detailed Aaron Menitoff. “International Polo Club Catering was the result.”

The newly formed company will launch in an incredible new facility, the Nespresso Grande Pavilion, nearing completion at International Polo.

“No expenses were spared for the new permanent pavilion to provide a unique, international events destination that’s available to the public for weddings, corporate events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, cultural events, charity fundraisers and more,” Aaron explained. “The International Polo Club style and service will now be available in other venues and people's homes all over South Florida through the catering and special events division.”

“I think it brings to Wellington, a unique and fabulous venue” concurred Julie Larson, General Manager,” I have managed several high-end facilities, but this venue is really unparalleled in the region. It is gorgeous, it’s huge at nearly 11,000 square feet, it’s climate controlled and has a magnificent overlook of the manicured polo fields. Not only that, the sunsets will be unbelievable, which is perfect for weddings. The interior appointments are unmatched anywhere in my experience,” she explained. I am excited to have the opportunity to offer this venue to our clients.”

Larson is also Director of Catering of Marketing and Sales with over a decade of senior management experience in event planning, sales and development in the South Florida catering industry.

The Nespresso Grande Pavilion will have unique amenities such as a fireplace, hardwood floors, a floating wedding gazebo, lush tropical gardens, fountains and an expansive two story veranda overlooking the world famous Piaget Polo Field with amazing sunset views.

Aaron’s Catering is already the exclusive catering company or one of the preferred caterers at so many of South Florida’s most unique venues and events, including: Destination Ragtops Motorcars Museum, The Ann Norton Sculpture Garden, The Borland Center, The Flagler Museum, The Spanish River Library, The Hawthorn Suites, The Wellington Community Center, The Boca Dunes Golf and Country Club, The Boynton Beach Women’s Club, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, Club MNMPlex for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Jupiter Civic Center, Temple Beth Torah, Saint Anne's Church, The South Florida Science Museum, Temple Judea, Town Of Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course, Palm Beach Shores Community Center.

The Aaron’s Catering team is led by President and CEO Aaron Menitoff, a graduate of the University of Michigan, did post graduate work at New York University, and most importantly, the Florida Culinary Institute where he graduated with honors in Culinary Arts, and Food and Beverage Management.

Chief Operating Officer Rita Menitoff, with over thirty years of business and customer service experience at executive management levels contributes to smooth running events through logistics planning, systems and operations engineering.

Jessica Wickham completes the management team at Aaron’s Catering. Wickham, the Director of Public Affairs and Senior Event Manager. She has earned two master’s degrees and has a background in Environmental Public Relations, University event planning, and human resource management. “Our team of talented hands-on décor specialists create the “WOW factor” for our events,” described Jessica, “They bring together layout, color palette, special lighting effects and theme conceptualizations in incredible ways.”

Part of what makes Aaron’s Catering the fastest growing catering company in South Florida is their attention to detail, their willingness to keep ahead of the latest trends and their staff of top notch professionals.

Aaron noted that company success is dependent on having a superstar in the kitchen. “Our culinary team is led by a gifted Executive Chef who worked his way to the top of such venues as Mar-a-lago and the Ritz Carlton. Chef Yo is an inspiration and a mentor to his staff in addition to being highly organized,” he said. Organization is a critical factor when 500 guests are served at the same time.

“The cuisine that we offer is outstanding because our chefs are outstanding,” smiled Julie. “They are always bringing us the latest “foodie” trends, culinary design and presentations, and most importantly, our chefs are all culinary graduates, they’re not just cooks. We all love to travel throughout the US and internationally,” she said, “always looking for the local or cross-cultural dishes to incorporate in our menus.”

Most important however, is their knowledge of their market, top to bottom.

“I started out in the equestrian world as an owner, rider and as a chef, which helped me develop a lot of meaningful relationships in the equestrian and culinary community. That’s how my client base of over seven years ago got started, as a one man show,” Aaron reminisced, “And I've developed Aaron's Catering into one of the largest and well received catering companies in South Florida with the support of my friends and colleagues at IPC and the rest of the equestrian community.”

“No one knows the equestrian community like we do, because we’ve been producing great affairs now for so many years,” Menitoff stated. “We understand the unique and special needs of the equestrians, the different and difficult hours involved, the different styles necessary to match the different equestrian occasions such as Barn Parties, Polo Tailgating and South American inspired Asados. We know how to create that very special event for horse people,” Menitoff said, and added, “We are the perfect fit.”

Aaron smiled as he said, “We all work towards the moment of truth at the event when we hear from our client, ‘I am speechless. Everything is wonderful! This is so far beyond my expectation!’”
