C.M. Hadfield’s Saddlery Returns as Exclusive Mobile Tack Shop and Presenting Sponsor of the ASPCA Maclay at Alltech National Horse Show

Written by: Kenneth Kraus
Client: National Horse Show http://www.nhs.org
Release Date: 2012-06-25

Lexington, KY – June 25, 2012 - - The 2012 Alltech National Horse Show announced today that C.M. Hadfield’s Saddlery will be returning as the Exclusive Mobile Tack Shop and Presenting Sponsor of the ASPCA Alfred B. Maclay Championships for this year’s event.

Following a successful debut last year, the second edition of the Alltech National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky, is scheduled for October 30 through November 4, 2012. The show will once again be held at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.

“Hadfield's is thrilled to once again be the official tack shop at the Alltech National Horse Show. We enjoyed being part of the debut last year and look forward to even bigger and better things this year,” said Cindy Hadfield, owner of C. M. Hadfield's Saddlery. “The show was fabulous last year. The Kentucky Horse Park is just a wonderful facility, steeped in tradition and surrounded by equine greatness.”

Mason Phelps, Jr., President of the National Horse Show Association announced the renewal of the sponsorship and welcomed Hadfield’s back to the Alltech National Horse Show. “As I said when they came on board last year, Hadfield’s is all about great service and the best quality. They were of enormous value and service to all of the competitors last year and that, of course, will continue again this year.”

"We thank Mason for his lifelong commitment to equestrian sport and we would also like to salute Alltech and Dr. Pearse Lyons for their generous involvement in the Alltech National Horse Show," Hadfield stated. “Their participation in this great American tradition helped make the debut a tremendous success last year and their ongoing dedication will insure that the Alltech National Horse Show will continue to be America’s top rated horse show.”

“What makes us special is our dedication to offering unparalleled quality and customer service,” Hadfield went on to say. “We have pursued the singular goal of being the best, both in terms of merchandise quality and customer service. To this end, we have sought out only the finest merchandise for our inventory and have developed our own product lines. We specialize in fine English riding apparel and bridlework and also offer high quality sportswear, rainwear and unique accessory items suitable for riding, casual wear or any equestrian discipline,” Hadfield explained.

C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery began in 1978 in Syracuse, New York.

In addition to being the Exclusive Mobile Tack Shop, Hadfield’s will once again be the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s ASPCA Maclay National Championship.

“We were proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of this great event last year and knew immediately that we would like to do it again this year,” said Hadfield. “The ASPCA Maclay National Championship is the ultimate test of horsemanship for aspiring junior riders and their equine partners. Winning the Maclay Finals is a sensational achievement that has helped to launch many outstanding professional careers that continue to benefit our sport. Every rider who qualifies for the Maclay Finals is to be congratulated,” she concluded.

An integral part of C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery is their mobile unit which will be on hand for the second year at the Alltech National Horse Show. “In our mobile unit, as in our store, the ideas of quality, value and service prevail,” said Hadfield.

The 2012 Alltech National Horse Show takes center stage on October 30 through November 4, 2012 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to the top rated hunters and the ASPCA Maclay National Championship, the show features world-class international, open, junior and amateur-owner jumpers competing for the biggest prize money on the United States indoor tour.

Founded in 1883 at the original Madison Square Garden, the National Horse Show is America’s oldest indoor horse show, firmly established as a major fixture on the national and international sports and social event calendars. The National Horse Show Association’s primary activity is the annual production of the National Horse Show and all ancillary events. Over the years, the National Horse Show has provided financial aid to many worthwhile charities.
