Phelps Media Group Sponsors Floridian Community Bank USHJA Zone 4 Free Clinic and Welcomes Back Stocked N Loaded

Written by: Emily Riden
Client: USHJA Zone 4 Free Clinic
Release Date: 2013-01-23

Wellington, FL – January 14, 2013 – Phelps Media Group Inc., International (PMG) is delighted to announce its support of this year’s USHJA Zone 4 Free Riders Clinic. Phelps Media Group has joined with the USHJA Zone 4 Hunter and Jumper Committees and Floridian Community Bank to sponsor this exceptional opportunity for Zone 4 riders and auditors. The free clinic will be held February 25, 2013 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, and USHJA Zone 4 riders of all levels are invited to attend at no cost. PMG will donate gourmet lunches from Stocked N Loaded to all riders.

Stocked N Loaded is a top of the line food truck with a following throughout Palm Beach County. Stocked N Loaded owner David Rashty is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and launched the mobile kitchen in 2011 as a unique way to share his decadent culinary dishes. Rashty has previously provided the lunches for the clinic and is thrilled to be back again. He will also be available throughout the day, stationed onsite for breakfast and lunch.

Zone 4 is pleased to have Cynthia Hankins serving as this year’s clinician. Hankins, a Bucks County, Pennsylvania native, comes to the clinic with an extensive riding and showing resume. Hankins was the fifth place finisher at the ASPCA Alfred B. Maclay Finals when she was only 12 years old, and has only continued to shine from there. Throughout her junior career she won many coveted awards, including the USEF Hunter Seat Medal and being named Best Child Rider at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

Following her junior career, Hankins moved to Paris, France and began riding and showing throughout Europe. There she demonstrated her level of experience with wins at Chantilly, Monaco, Valkensvaard, Holland, Vimeiro, Portugal and Arezzo, Italy. Now as an “R” judge for over 30 years, Hankins has judged all of the major equitation finals and major hunter classes at the Winter Equestrian Festival. In 2012, she was a clinician for the USJHA’s Emerging Athletes Program, and she produced the commended DVD, “A Day at the Finals.”

“We’ve supported the clinic in the past, and it’s really proved to be a great event,” Mason Phelps Jr., President of Phelps Media Group explained. “Having a clinician like Cynthia Hankins provides the riders with such a great opportunity, and we’re glad to be a part of it in any way we can.”

Rider openings for the clinic are available to Zone 4 riders only on a first come, first serve basis by contacting Chris Gilman at Auditors and spectators are also encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and to come out and watch at no charge. Stabling will be available upon request.
