Equestrian Architect to Sign Copies of Healthy Stables By Design at Prestigious Event

Wellington, FL – November 15, 2013 - John Blackburn, author of the newly released book Healthy Stables By Design, will visit with fans and sign books at the National Press Club’s 36th Annual Book Fair & Authors’ Night, in partnership with Politics & Prose, on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.

The event benefits the non-profit NPC Journalism Institute, whose mission is to provide training for working journalists in a changing media environment and support the next generation of journalists through a competitive scholarship program.

The National Press Club is partnering with The SEED Foundation, which helps prepare underserved students for college success at public boardingschools in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. The Book Fair is helping to develop the school library at the foundation’s Maryland campus.

Politics & Prose, an active and well-known Washington, D.C., bookseller, is the official retailer for the event. C-SPAN is expected to cover the popular literary showcase, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m.

“I look forward to signing books next to authors like Ann Leary and Alice McDermott,” said Blackburn. “It has the makings of an incredible evening.”
