Blenheim EquiSports Continues Partnership With JustWorld International at Las Vegas National Horse Show

Las Vegas, Nevada – December 6, 2013 – JustWorld’s GIVE 4 GOOD Campaign allows you to choose a cause that is close to your heart—a cause that will change the lives of more than 3,500 children by giving them access to the opportunities an­d skills that break the cycle of poverty. The Las Vegas National Horse Show chose Nutrition in Honduras as their project, raising funds for their cause and providing JustWorld International with the help needed to fulfill their mission of working as a catalyst for positive change in the developing world by helping impoverished children.

The Las Vegas National Horse Show also marked the renewal of the long-term partnership between Blenheim EquiSports and JustWorld International. Blenheim EquiSports is a leading equestrian event management company based in California that has been a true supporter of JustWorld since 2011. This year, they held several events at the South Point Casino Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada, including the fan-favorite JustWorld International Horseless Horse Show. The horseless horse show is the epitome of every equestrian child’s dreams. They are able to tackle a track that is very similar to that of the Grand Prix, and they race against the clock over a miniature course while competing for ribbons and bragging rights. Francie Steinwedell-Carvin and Angela Covert judged the horseless horse show, and renowned course designer Guilherme Jorge worked in tandem with United States Show Jumping Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland to set the track.

Blenheim EquiSports took it a step further for 2013, raising the stakes with the High Jump Qualifier.In addition to the JustWorld International Horseless Horse Show, held in the concourse of the South Point Arena, the top nine finalists who qualified to do the High Jump during the horseless horse show had the opportunity to compete in the JustWorld High Jump Finale during the opening ceremony of the 1.35m Las Vegas Speed Classic. Jael Campbell took the victory after clearing 4’1”, while Marie Langer captured second with only a 1-inch difference separating the competitors.

West Coast Ambassador Sarah Abdi had the opportunity during the opening ceremony to speak to the audience about JustWorld’s mission and the difference each person can make. The Jumbotron then lit up with the JustWorld International video, which left the audience speechless and ready to help.

On Saturday night, the JustWorld International booth proved a hit. Ambassadors and volunteers were on site to sell JustWorld merchandise during the World Cup Rider Autograph Session held after the Grand Prix.

“I have had the chance to work with Blenheim throughout the year, and they have been really supportive of JustWorld. Las Vegas is the show where they support us the most—providing anything we need in order to help our mission. It is a really good show to reach out to everybody, and gain more visibility for the West Coast," West Coast Ambassador Sarah Abdi stated. "I think Las Vegas is really growing, and this year was kind of the biggest numbers. We had people interested in becoming ambassadors from Oregon, Washington, and many more states. It is becoming a place where everyone can reunite and come together for a stronger West Coast."

"The shows are something special," Abdi continued. "There is such a good group of people from riders and owners, to parents and children. We have so much fun raising awareness for JustWorld, and we couldn't be more thankful for Blenheim's support."
