Show By Appointment Poised for Second Year of Success in 2014

Written by: Mary Adelaide Brakenridge
Client: Horse Show By Appointment
Release Date: 2014-02-01

Indiantown, FL – February 1, 2014 - Show By Appointment took the reined cow horse world by storm in 2013 with their revolutionary approach to running horse shows. Now, they’re back for their second season of offering shows around the country, culminating in the richest cow horse show on the East Coast: the second annual SBA Championship Finals.

For the 2014 season, the Finals will again offer a guaranteed $100,000 in cash and prizes. They are scheduled for Jan. 8-11, 2015, at the Triple J Ranch in Sarasota, FL.

Show By Appointment (SBA) is committed to making shows “Fun, Fair and Affordable” for participants. They earned a loyal following in their first year by ensuring that each and every horse was judged fairly and creating a fun, family-friendly environment.

The first annual $100,000 SBA Championship Finals were held at the Triple J Ranch on Oct. 10-13, 2013. Competitors could qualify by competing in any of the SBA circuits around the country, including locations in Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio and Florida. The Finals were a great success and featured fantastic prizes and top-notch competition.

SBA kicked off 2014 with the first show of their winter circuit at Bynum Farms in Indiantown, FL. Held Jan. 18-19, the show got the season off to a great start. The Level 1 Boxing and Little Britches classes were particularly popular, as SBA strives to create a positive experience for lower level and young riders.

SBA also co-sanctioned a show with the Gulf Coast Western Cow Horse Event on Jan. 10-12 at Triple J Ranch in Sarasota, FL. The show gave local riders an opportunity to earn their ticket to the year-end Championship Finals.

Sponsorships are available for SBA’s 2014 season, and now is the perfect time to get on board to take full advantage of SBA’s events and associated promotional opportunities. Contact Mary Adelaide Brakenridge at for more information.

Upcoming SBA show dates include Feb. 22-23 and March 22-23 at Bynum Farms in Indiantown, FL. Keep an eye out at for announcements of additional dates. Visit SBA on Facebook at

About Show By Appointment

Show By Appointment’s fresh approach to reined cow horse competition was an unprecedented success in its first season, and now SBA is back for a second year. SBA aims to make showing “Fun, Fair, and Affordable” for competitors.  To accommodate those traveling long distances to show and help busy riders fit showing in at their convenience, SBA allows riders to reserve their own ride times in advance. This cuts down on usual travel expenses such as stall rentals and hotels and encourages competitors to make the trip and join in the fun.

Each SBA series includes four shows. Riders who compete at three out of the four shows earn a place in the annual Championship Finals, which offer over $100,000 in cash and prizes. Competitors may also qualify for the Finals in absentia by simply sending in entries and payment to each of the four shows.
